I made an appointment to have an icd put in. I drove a 120 miles and they set me up with the wrong doctor. A waste of half my day gas money and it made me sick driving the distance. I am glad they were not the ones doing the surgery. Who knows how that would come out if you can't even make an appointment right.

My visit was very good. Dr. Shafton answered my questions & concerns. However when he listened to my heart and carotid arteries, he only listened for less than a second. Not sure he would be able to find any abnormalities during such a short time.

I came for a second opinion concerning heart and high blood pressure troubles I was having. I would have liked more time to talk to the MD, to get a deeper and better understanding of what is going on. He did a fine job describing the "what to do" but without the "Why?" or "how?" I am left with the same "ho hum" sense I did from the other cardiologist's practice. It may be the 20th heart he sees in one day, but it is the only one I have and I would like to be able to rely on more understanding and a concrete play for improvement.

Regular checkup. As always, it was a pleasure to see Dr Shafton.

when my initial stress test revealed a need for nuclear test, scheduler (*****I think) fit me in due to another patient cancellation. this was critical for me to continue with surgery plans. the technician (********) that administered the second nuclear test was wonderful. very knowledgeable, very pleasant, a great asset to your office. I am very thankful and pleased that I was able to get both tests in one day.

I went in for a 1 year check and Doctor Shafton explained about my EKG and told me to stop the Metropinol until I see my PCP to check on how my high blood pressure is.
