Dr. McDuffie offers sophisticated care for high-risk mothers and their unborn babies in a warm, relaxing and friendly atmosphere. He is the Medical Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Center at Saint Joseph Hospital and provides specialized care to moms and babies who deliver at Platte Valley Medical Center.
He grew up in Western North Carolina in a medical family and has worked in the medical field his entire life. After finishing medical school, he moved to Colorado for his training. After several years of practicing general OB/GYN, he specialized in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, where he has been practicing in this field for over twenty-five years.
“I enjoy the challenge of balancing the technology of today with the common sense of the past,” he explains. “My communication style is direct, and when possible, I add humor to each visit. I believe in offering options rather than telling my patients what to do.”
Away from work, he enjoys many sports. He also has a wife and a teenage son at home who keep him very busy.
