Dr. Kern grew up in Massachusetts and attended college in California. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College in Westchester County, NY, and completed residency training at St. Anthony’s Family Medicine in Denver. She has more than 15 years of experience as a primary care and occupational medicine physician, and is fellowship trained in sports medicine. Dr. Kern has full Level II Accreditation with the Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation. She has volunteered at the Sports Medicine Clinic at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Dr. Kern has trained in dry needling, which is a technique similar to acupuncture used to treat pain and muscle and tendon injuries.
Dr. Kern loves living in Colorado because the great weather allows for an active lifestyle. She is an avid runner and also loves to hike, mountain bike, travel and read. Her goal is to keep you and your family moving and healthy. Staying injury free and active is the key to a happy life.
