Dr. Ruchika Husa is a cardiologist in North Denver. She received a master's degree in medical physiology and a medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington D.C. She completed an internship and residency training in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the University of California, San Diego.
From there, Dr. Husa was an assistant professor at Ohio State University in Columbus where she focused on cardiovascular imaging, and teaching and caring for patients. During this time, she continued researching sudden cardiac death. Dr. Husa is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.

Married with a young daughter, Dr. Husa is a passionate cook who is working on becoming a master at the grill and an avid traveler. Some of her favorite places in the world include Thailand for its food, Japan for its history, and Peru for its outdoor activities and exploration.
