Pat is a physical therapist with more than 20 years of experience and has been with SCL Health for more than 10 years. He earned a Master of Science in physical therapy from Washington University School of Medicine. Pat has inpatient experience in acute care/ICU, transitional care and rehab. For more than a decade he has worked in outpatient clinics applying manual techniques in treating orthopedic and work related injuries. In addition, he performs wound and burn care. Pat has extensive experience in functional capacity assessments, and is trained in both the Matheson and Blankenship protocols.
Pat works primarily with orthopedic and workers’ compensation patients and uses a combination of manual techniques combined with therapeutic exercises to help patients achieve maximum recovery from injuries. Pats goal is to partner with the patient to understand their specific needs or goals and work in conjunction with them to achieve those goals. He believes in educating patients so they can help themselves reach recovery, understand the healing processes and prevent future injuries.
In his spare time, Pat enjoys swimming, sculpting, and participating in various outdoor activities with his family.
