Christie Bryant, CNM, MS became a certified nurse-midwife in 1994 graduating from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She followed a path to midwifery after a tremendously rewarding birth experience of her own. Following the birth of her first child, she became a certified doula and helped many women on their own journey of childbirth. In fact, she helped start a volunteer doula service in Denver as well as doula services in two Denver hospitals. She enjoyed the process so much that she went back to school to complete her education and become a healthcare provider. She values all that families bring to the process of pregnancy, childbirth and parenting.
Christie loves when women have done their homework and are fully engaged in achieving what they want out of their life experiences, especially what they want out of their own, very personal birth experience.
She spends much of her time off with family and friends playing golf, traveling and enjoying the sunshine.
For new patients, Christie says, "We have worked hard to build a caring and competent team who value each and every one of our patients. I feel that there is so much that we can learn from each other. We'll work hard to make your childbirth journey a memorable one."
Christie is one of the founding partners of the Certified Nurse-Midwives program at Saint Joseph Hospital.
