At three years old, she received her first medical kit from her mother and would play “doctor” on her dogs. “Patients come first. They deserve to be fully educated about diagnosis, treatment and possible outcomes from the beginning of their care. Patients should always be treated with compassion and they should feel like they are a full partner in their care decisions.” Dr. Bey’s areas of clinical interest include breast cancer and clinical trials.
When she is not at work, Dr. Bey enjoys knitting, oil painting, gardening, fishing and tending to her fresh and salt water aquariums.
