BLS Skills Check 2020

HeartCode BLS is the online portion of the BLS course when taken in a blended-learning format. It uses a variety of eLearning assets -- such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities -- to teach students BLS knowledge and skills. After completing the online portion, including passing the online exam with a score of 84% or higher, students attend a structured Instructor-led classroom session that focuses on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, discussions of local protocols, and skills testing.

The onsite skill verification is part TWO of a two part series. You MUST complete the online course through an assigned link prior to the classroom session.

Registration Instructions:

To complete this BLS Skills Check please follow these simple steps:

  1. Please contact the Training Center Coordinator to receive your link to the Part 1 online.  They can be reached at 406.237.3646 or sv_training_center@sclhealth.org.
  2. Complete the online portion of the course BEFORE you arrive for your Skills Check. Completion time of the online course is between 1-2 hours.  NOTE:  Anyone who hasn't completed the online portion of the course when they arrive for their skills check will not be able to complete their skills portion and will have to reschedule.
  3. Arrive for your skills check with your certificate of completion
  4. Once you have completed the skills check, you will receive your certification card.
