Congratulations on your decision to breastfeed. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months and to continue for at least a year. In this class you and partner will learn all the evidence based benefits of breastfeeding, how skin to skin plays a role in your breastfeeding relationship, how milk is produced, what it takes to maintain your milk supply, nursing positions and how to get support after going home. These steps and techniques will help you feel more confident and get off to a great start and maintain successful breastfeeding. Learn about what becoming a "Baby Friendly Hospital" means and how the St. Mary's is here to support you, your baby and your decision to breastfeed.

- PLEASE ALLOW TIME FOR PARKING AND CHECKING IN AS CLASS STARTS PROMPTLY AT 6PM held on the 5th floor
- Please watch the Virtual Tour on the app prior to class , as NO GROUP Tours are allowed at this time.
- Please be sure that you and your support person are wearing a mask prior to entering the hospital and during class. For the health and safety of others, If either of you are experiencing symptoms or have any illness PLEASE DO NOT attend class. Please try to maintain social distancing with others while in class

Breastfeeding Support Group is held Every Wednesday from 10:00 to 12:00 2686 Patterson( St Mary's Life Center) Entrance #40 Call (970) 298-1993 for questions regarding support group.
Class Cancellations MUST BE DONE 72HRS PRIOR to class start date, in order to receive full refund. Classes may be cancelled if not enough registrants to hold class OR due to weather. In that event you will be moved to another class date or a full refund will be given.
