Wondering how well you will manage labor? Confidence begins here! Our childbirth preparation courses will provide you with accurate information as you prepare for labor and birth. Let our certified childbirth instructors teach you about the labor process, coping and breathing techniques, and the latest about epidurals, medications and interventions. You will also learn about strategies for partners, Cesarean birth and hospital procedures. Learn how to manage the pain of labor and become empowered with knowledge and skills for birth. Your class will also include a tour of The Baby Place at Lutheran. Choose from a two- or three-week series....
When to take this class: Complete by three weeks before your due date.
Class is limited to 10 couples. Face masks are optional as of March 15, 2023.

Please wear comfortable clothes to class (dresses/skirts are discouraged). If you have them, please bring a yoga mat and long scarf that doesn't stretch (for rebozo practice). During weekend classes, we will take a 30-minute lunch break. The La Piazza Cafe is open for your convenience or, if you prefer, you may bring your lunch.
We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel. If you cancel your registration up to five business days before class, your registration will be refunded, less a $10 service charge. Refunds may not be given after this time. Transfers are available up to five business days before class.
