Get plenty of rest
Your baby may wake up to feed every few hours, but your body is still healing and needs sleep.
Raising a family is not a solo endeavor. Don't hesitate to ask for help.
Add more whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and water to your diet.
Take a walk nearby or get a change of scenery. Consult your doctor about exercise and avoid anything strenuous.
Expect changes to your body
Your postpartum body has been through a lot and is still healing. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns about body changes during this time.
Set aside time to communicate
A newborn can be a huge adjustment and cause partners or other family members to feel left out. It's essential to communicate and set aside time for loved ones.
