St. Vincent Celebrates Region's Top Pediatric Care with Record Breaking Kids Fun Day at ZooMontana

St. Vincent Healthcare, now part of Intermountain Healthcare, kicked off the summer at it's annual Kids Fun Day at ZooMontana. In partnership with Intermountain Primary Children's Hospital, caregivers shared with kids and families about ways to stay safe this summer through fun safety demonstrations and activities.

Kids Fun Day, and NICU graduation party,  is a annual celebration of St. Vincent’s long standing commitment to providing the highest quality pediatric care in our region through our services and specialists at St. Vincent Children’s, Intermountain Primary Children’s, Hospital, and the University of Utah School of Medicine. The event includes, animal encounters, a climbing wall, emergency vehicles, safety demonstrations and fun for the whole family. This year's event was the largest Kids Fun Day event to date,  with nearly 4,000 members of the Billings community and caregivers in attendance. It was ZooMontana's largest event since the beginning of the pandemic. 

 St. Vincent Healthcare has a long legacy of providing high quality pediatric care to the region. In 2016 St. Vincent Healthcare, Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah and University of Utah established a strong partnership to expand pediatric services and access to  pediatric specialists in Montana. Recently, Intermountain Primary Children's Hospital, was Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital was ranked as one of nation’s best children’s hospitals by U.S. News & World Report for pediatric specialty services.  In April of this year, SCL Health merged with Intermountain Healthcare, further strengthening the commitment and access to pediatric services. Together, these organizations and pediatric healthcare providers are caring for our region’s children so they can heal close to home.

St. Vincent also specializes in critical and pediatric trauma care. With the only dedicated pediatric intensive care unit and pediatric surgery program in eastern Montana, the specially trained, kid-friendly doctors and nurses at St. Vincent provide safe, specialized care for infants, children and their families.
