SCL Health Medical Group Enhances Spine Services in the North Metro

Welcome to our newest Front Range clinics

Possley_16x9LAFAYETTE, CO  –  With the addition this month of its newest Front Range clinic, Lafayette Spine, SCL Health Medical Group continues to build out ambulatory specialty services in the Denver Metro area, increasing access and convenience for patients who need them.

“Our goal is to help patients return to doing the things they love as quickly as possible,” says orthopedic surgeon Daniel R. Possley, DO, who leads the clinic. “That’s why we always start with the least invasive treatments first.”

Recognized for excellent outcomes, Dr. Possley pursued a career in spine surgery after his brother had a neck injury that nearly left him paralyzed. Through that experience, he says, he learned the value of good orthopedic care, whether surgical or non-surgical.

He started out as an orthopedic surgeon with the United States Army and continued his training with a spine surgery fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, one of the busiest and most highly regarded spine fellowships in the world. He remains active in the orthopedic academic community, giving presentations, reviewing journal articles and publishing peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.

Located primarily at Lafayette Spine, Dr. Possley will also run a satellite clinic, SCL Health Medical Group - Brighton Spine, and make rounds at SCL Health’s Good Samaritan Medical Center, Lutheran Medical Center and Platte Valley Medical Center.

Dr. Chow offers subspecialty expertise in neuro-oncology and skull-base tumors, as well as extensive experience in spine surgery, including open and minimally invasive approaches. He’s well versed in utilizing the latest technologies for spinal instrumentation and navigation.

Lafayette Spine is the latest of a group of specialty clinics to join the SCL Health Medical Group fold this month, including two more neurology clinics in Wheat Ridge and in the Lowry area of Denver

“At SCL Health, my patients get the benefit of access to our massive network of specialty care,” says Dr. Possley. “I’m pleased to be a part of the mission to bring excellent outcomes closer to home.”
